His service will be in Savannah Ga 31406 this thursday at 4:00 pm at Fox and Weeks on Hogdgen Memorial Drive. This is the same place Robbie's mama service was held. Sam is on her way to Savannah as I write this, thanks to all of you, Cat

I'm sorry for your loss. I know you two were longtime friends, and it's never easy to see a pal leave us.

And thanks for giving that song to Toni for her blog. I never had the pleasure of hearing Rob live, having only met him that one time, so it was nice to hear the voice I read so much about.

I wish I was able to get to the service Cat and meet you and all his friends and family who I feel I know from his writing but it's not to be. I hope someday I'll get to Savannah and meet you anyway and maybe you can tell me stories... I'm astounded at how devastated I am by his loss, I can only imagine what you're going through.

Thanks so much for giving Toni the song file to post. It really helped me last night to hear his voice for the first time and it's such a beautiful song. I'll be sitting right next to you at the service in spirit.
